Lake & Tree Films is founded by Twin Cities-based journalist & filmmaker Edgar Linares. Edgar started his broadcast career in his home town of Salt Lake City, Utah at CBS affiliate KUTV. Edgar's career also took him to Arizona and Idaho where he worked as a reporter for NBC affiliates KYMA and KTVB. For almost ten years, you could hear Edgar anchor weeknights in the Twin Cities on WCCO Radio. 
 
Lake & Tree Films is a digital marketing services provider. We specialize in affordable, high quality video productions for business owners who need marketing videos for their website, social media platforms... and more. 

We primarily work in Minnesota, but we are willing to travel. Lake & Tree's staff are Emmy, Associated Press and Edward R. Murrow winners in both television and radio production. Our staff works side by side with clients to help harness the power of video and social media to tell the story of your company. 

Lake & Tree also offers drone filming and photography to clients. Remote pilots for L & T are FAA Part 107 certified, insured with Liberty Mutual and aircraft registered with the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
